This is the 2012 version of the Traveling Duckie - Sarah Duck Smith.
Sarah was designed after the character Sarah Jane Smith from Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures as portrayed by Elisabeth Sladen who passed away April 18, 2011 due to complications from cancer.
Sarah has already begun her adventures, and will be taking over from The Brig.

So wonderful to see that Sarah Duck Smith has made friends with a current companion. She is the cancer fighting mascot for Team GEEK (http://main.acs.events.org/goto/TeamGEEK).
